Introduction

Welcome to SHAZ. These Terms of Sale govern your purchase of products from our website (www.shaz.store). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

SHAZ is a Dubai-based handcrafted fashion brand. We are registered with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and comply with the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020), the UAE E-Commerce Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023), and all applicable UAE regulations.

Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase. If you have any questions, please contact us at hello@shaz.store before placing your order.

1. Placing an Order

How to Order

You may place orders through our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To place an order:

  1. Browse our collection and select your desired items
  2. Add items to your shopping cart
  3. Proceed to checkout and enter your shipping and billing information
  4. Review your order and complete payment
  5. Receive an order confirmation email

Order Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase our products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is only accepted when we send you a shipping confirmation email. Until that point, we may cancel your order for any reason, including but not limited to:

  1. Product unavailability or stock errors
  2. Pricing errors on our website
  3. Suspected fraudulent transactions
  4. Incomplete or inaccurate order information

If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 14 business days.

Order Modifications

Once an order is placed, modifications may not be possible. If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at hello@shaz.store. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order enters processing.

2. Pricing and Payment

Prices

All prices displayed on our website are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable VAT where required. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy. However, if we discover a pricing error after you place an order, we will contact you before shipping. You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  1. Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards
  2. Apple Pay
  3. Google Pay
  4. Shop Pay
  5. Cash on Delivery (COD) – UAE orders only, subject to a service fee

Payment Security

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Your payment information is encrypted using SSL technology and is never stored on our servers. We comply with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) to ensure the safety of your financial information.

Currency and Taxes

For international orders, prices will be converted to your local currency at checkout. Please note that you may be responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by your country. These charges are not included in our prices and are the customer's responsibility.

3. Shipping and Delivery

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Sunday to Thursday). Processing time does not include shipping time. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Times

  1. Dubai: Same-day or next-day delivery available
  2. UAE (other emirates): 1-2 business days
  3. GCC Countries: 2-4 business days
  4. International: 5-10 business days (varies by destination)

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including customs processing, weather conditions, or carrier delays.

Shipping Costs

  1. UAE: Free shipping on orders over AED 500. Orders under AED 500 incur a flat shipping fee.
  2. GCC: Shipping rates calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.
  3. International: Shipping rates calculated at checkout. Additional customs duties may apply.

Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect address information provided at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for additional shipping costs to reship the order.

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from SHAZ are shipped at our risk. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. We recommend inspecting your package upon delivery and reporting any damage immediately.

4. Returns and Exchanges

Return Policy

We want you to love your SHAZ pieces. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 14 days from the date of delivery for an exchange or store credit.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  1. Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  2. Free from perfume, makeup, deodorant, or any stains
  3. Returned with all original tags attached
  4. In original packaging (garment bag, box)
  5. Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  1. Items marked as 'Final Sale' or purchased during special promotions
  2. Custom or made-to-order pieces
  3. Items that have been altered or tailored
  4. Items showing signs of wear, damage, or missing tags
  5. Gift cards

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at returns@shaz.store with your order number and reason for return
  2. Our team will review your request and provide return instructions within 2 business days
  3. Pack your items securely and ship to the address provided
  4. Once received and inspected, we will process your exchange or issue store credit

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error with your order. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

5. Refunds

Refund Policy

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

  1. Defective Products: If you receive a defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a return and issue a full refund including shipping costs.
  2. Wrong Item Received: If we ship the wrong item, we will cover all return costs and either send the correct item or issue a full refund.
  3. Order Cancellation: If your order is cancelled before shipping, you will receive a full refund.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Store Credit

For eligible returns that do not qualify for a refund, we offer store credit valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Store credit can be applied to any purchase on our website and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in packaging and shipping your order. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@shaz.store
  2. Include your order number and clear photos of the damage or defect
  3. Keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved

We will assess the issue and offer a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

7. Product Descriptions and Colors

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, please note:

  1. Colors may vary slightly from the images shown due to monitor settings, lighting conditions, and photography
  2. All measurements are approximate and provided as a guide
  3. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations in color, texture, and finishing are normal and reflect the artisanal quality of each piece

These natural variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns or refunds.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the SHAZ website, including but not limited to:

  1. Product designs, patterns, and styles
  2. Photographs, images, and graphics
  3. Text, descriptions, and marketing materials
  4. Logos, trademarks, and brand elements

...are the exclusive property of SHAZ and are protected by UAE and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from our website without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

  1. SHAZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products
  2. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question
  3. We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

10. Prohibited Uses

By purchasing from SHAZ, you agree not to:

  1. Purchase products for resale without our written authorization
  2. Use our products in any manner that infringes on our intellectual property rights
  3. Provide false or misleading information during the ordering process
  4. Engage in fraudulent activity or abuse our return policy

We reserve the right to refuse service and cancel orders from customers who violate these terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Sale are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an amicable resolution. You may also file a complaint with the UAE Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of Economy or the Dubai Consumer Rights Unit (600 545555).

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Sale at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last revised.

Your continued use of our website and purchase of products after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
